How do I connect my credit cards to Capture Expense?
To connect your credit cards to Capture Expense, you have two main options:

Use Open Banking: This is the easiest and most seamless method. Simply connect your corporate card account through Open Banking, and transactions will flow directly into Capture Expense for easy reconciliation.

Set up a bank feed: If your bank doesn’t support Open Banking, you can set up a feed to transfer transaction data. This requires contacting your bank to authorize Capture Expense as a third-party provider. Your bank will guide you through completing a form to enable file transfers via FTP. Once approved, transactions will be automatically shared and can be assigned to user accounts in Capture Expense.
What credit cards does Capture Expense integrate with?
Capture Expense works with both UK Visa and Mastercard credit cards provided by a variety of trusted issuers, like HSBC, Lloyds, NatWest, and Barclaycard. We’ve designed it to handle the cards your team relies on every day. On top of that, Capture Expense offers direct integration through Open Banking, making it even easier to stay connected. This includes accounts like ClearSpend or Barclaycard, giving you more flexibility and convenience when managing expenses.
Can employees upload receipts for card transactions?
Yes, employees can easily upload receipts using either the mobile app or the web portal—whatever works best for them. Once a receipt is uploaded, the system automatically works its magic by matching it to the corresponding card transaction. Unmatched transactions are flagged for review, making it simple for either the employee or the finance team to follow up. Plus, the system helps keep things on track by sending reminders or notifications about any missing receipts, so nothing slips through the cracks.
